Project Gutenberg
Many works of 19th century Russian literature can be found in full text English translation online through Project Gutenberg. The following list, while far from comprehensive, provides links to the texts of several of the most influential writers of the time. Many of the translations are older, so I would still recommend reading the works in print if possible. E-books are available in a variety of formats, some of which are compatible with e-readers.

Other Resources
- _ E-books @Adelaide – Site links to various e-books and has a specific Russian literature section. Also includes brief biographies of authors and background information about Russian literature as a whole.__
- Google Books – Older works often appear in whole for free through Google Books, including some offerings that can’t be found through Project Gutenberg. One such example is Oblomov, by Ivan Goncharov.
- The Literature Network – This website includes many of the same authors that can be found on Project Gutenberg, including 19th century Russian authors. This site provides a brief biography of each author in addition to full texts of their works. Works are broken down in a chapter-by-chapter format, allowing them to be read more comfortably in a web browser.
